Welcome to the professionals
in wood chips production!
The new, larger machine type Wood-Terminator 11 XL from the company Mus-Max is simply unbeatable when it comes to chipping quality and throughput rate for tractors with up to 400 HP.
The first impression confirms that this wood chipping machine can also be operated by someone less experienced, as it has an aggressive feed and an electronic system with fast reaction preventing malfunctions. Also whole trees with diameters of up to 75 cm are pulled in without the crane operator having to lift the feed roller. The CAN BUS process control ensures that the feed conveyor never slows down with the result that the wood chips always have the required length and that clean, rather square pieces of wood chips are produced. Another advantage is the length of this chipping machine’s feed conveyor: 2.7 m instead of the 2.4 m usually found in machines from the competition. Thus, the 4m logs remain on the conveyor and – unlike with other chipping machine brands – do not fall to the ground. And what’s more, this machine’s feed screws are driven with maintenance-free hydraulic drive motors instead of maintenance-intensive roller chain drives. The wide feed width (1.14 m) is particularly advantageous for the processing of shrubbery and treetops. The high hydraulic contact pressure of the massive upper draw-in roller ensures that uniform, good quality wood chips are produced also from forest residues. The fully automatic and safe operation of the wood chipping machine allows the crane operator to fully focus on the feeding work with the crane. Thus, it is possible to process up to 200 cubic metres of loose chips per hour without any interruptions. The smooth operation of the chipping drum and the state-of-the-art electronic system of the infeed control go easy on the tractor and ensure unrivalled efficiency. The reliable patented foreign matter protection of the chipping knives (against steel parts, stones,…) reduces the chance of major damage to the chipping drum. Clean wood chips with a low share of fines are produced thanks to the large lift of the chipping knives from the rotor and the low chipping drum speed. The screen basket is divided, is of low weight and, thus, can be easily exchanged in just a few minutes by one person only. Another new feature of the WT 11 XL is the small radio control for the discharge functions. This can be operated by the person removing the wood chips to completely fill the trailer, thus relieving the crane operator. So many advantages – realised in a single compact machine! With this new addition to the wood chipping machine series, professional wood chips producers will have an even harder time doing without a Mus-Max Wood-Terminator. |
